The Broken Ear initially distributed in English as (Tintin and the Broken Ear) is the 6th volume of The Adventures of Tintin. Charged by the traditionalist Belgian paper Le Vingtième Siècle for its kids' enhancement Le Petit Vingtième, it was serialized week by week from December 1935 to February 1937. The story recounts youthful Belgian columnist Tintin and his canine Snowy, who seek after the criminals of a South American obsession recognizable by its wrecked ear. In doing as such, he winds up in the anecdotal country of San Theodoros, where he gets entangled in a war and finds the Arumbaya clan somewhere down in the woods.
