Tintin in the Congo is the second volume of The Adventures of Tintin. Appointed by the traditionalist Belgian paper Le Vingtième Siècle for its youngsters' enhancement Le Petit Vingtième, it was serialized week after week from May 1930 to June 1931 preceding being distributed in a gathered volume by Éditions de Petit Vingtième in 1931. The story recounts youthful Belgian journalist Tintin and his canine Snowy, who is shipped off the Belgian Congo to investigate functions in the nation. In the midst of different experiences with the local Congolese individuals and wild creatures, Tintin uncovers a criminal precious stone carrying activity run by the American hoodlum Al Capone.
